IPv4 and IPv6
compliant PPP and PPPoE stack development
A complete PPP and PPPoE stack was
developed for this client from scratch to
integrate into the company's 3G protocol
stack. The stack is compliant to the
following RFC's:
- RFC1661
- RFC1662
- RFC1332
- RFC1334
- RFC1994
- RFC2516
- RFC2472
- RFC1144
Additionally the stack handled the NCP
negotiation aspects of the IPv4 and IPv6
layer.
The project was initially developed and
tested under Visual Studio.Net.
The stack was fully compliant for IPv4
and v6 operation and was ported to
several hardware platforms including
StrongARM, Intel PXA250 and ARC based
SoC. The physical interfaces include
RS232, USB, PCMCIA and 10/100base-T
Ethernet (PPPoE).
